Klinke Visuals / Legal information
Privacy Policy
This policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this portfolio or contact us. It applies to the website klinkevisuals.de.

You may also use these contact details to exercise your data protection rights.
2. Website overview
The portfolio consists of static HTML pages, a locally served CSS file, image files and a short JavaScript script for switching between the Café and Office comparisons. Fonts are drawn from the system fonts available on your device.
No analytics or advertising tools, external web fonts, maps, social media plugins, video players, newsletters, payment services, contact forms or upload features are embedded. The portfolio’s own code does not set cookies or use Local Storage or Session Storage.
Some portfolio images were created with AI assistance. Viewing images or switching comparisons does not cause the portfolio’s own code to send visitor data to an AI image service.
3. Hosting and server data
The website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection and access data is processed. This includes IP addresses, timestamps, the requested page or file, HTTP status, the amount of data transferred, and device, browser and, where applicable, referrer information supplied by the browser. These data support content delivery, availability, error diagnosis and protection against attacks.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is to provide a reliable and secure website. Content cannot be delivered without technical connection data. STRATO processes this data as a processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. Further information is available in STRATO’s privacy policy.
Technical data is stored only for as long as necessary for operation, incident handling and abuse prevention. Klinke Visuals does not maintain an additional visitor database or its own visitor statistics. The website does not set cookies.
4. Contact by email and phone
If you contact us, we process the data you provide, in particular your name, email address or phone number, message content, project information and any attachments you choose to send. This is used to handle your enquiry and, where applicable, prepare or carry out an engagement.
For enquiries relating to a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries and communication with company contacts are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in appropriate business communication.
The email providers involved process sender and recipient addresses, messages, attachments and technical delivery information to enable and secure communication.
An email link only opens your email application. Nothing is sent until you send the message yourself. The website does not embed a webmail service; simply visiting a page does not cause the portfolio’s own code to connect to an email provider. Phone links similarly open your phone application.
Enquiry data is deleted once the matter has been handled and no further necessary communication, retention or evidential grounds remain. Contract-related correspondence and records are retained for the applicable statutory retention periods under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Further retention to pursue or defend specific claims is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR until the matter is resolved or the relevant limitation periods expire.
Contacting us is voluntary. Without sufficient contact details and information about your enquiry, we may be unable to respond. Please send only necessary information and avoid unnecessary personal data about third parties.
5. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Data is received by the hosting, email and telecommunications providers needed for the relevant purpose. Authorities or other authorized bodies receive data only where a legal obligation or another legal basis permits it.
Emails sent to leon@klinkevisuals.de are received by STRATO and forwarded for processing to a mailbox at Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland); replies are also sent from there. Processing in the United States cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers are based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Article 45 GDPR). Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy.
6. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Right to object: Where data is processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. Processing will then stop unless overriding compelling legitimate grounds apply or processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Please send your request to leon@klinkevisuals.de. Under Article 77 GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in your place of residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
In Berlin, you can contact the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information at Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, through datenschutz-berlin.de.
7. Security and automated decisions
The hosted website is delivered using HTTPS encryption. Email is not automatically end-to-end encrypted; its protection also depends on the email providers involved.
Klinke Visuals does not make decisions on this website based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects, and does not carry out profiling for advertising purposes.
8. Updates and changes
Last updated: 17 September 2026. English translation: 7 October 2026. This policy will be adjusted if the hosting or embedded services change.
